Web page and screen resolution...

Hello.

Do people still design webpages for 1024 X 768 resolution? Or has the standard moved up to 1152 X 864 or higher? Most of the people who visit my site, according to my stats, use 1024 X 768, and since my site contains a lot of .jpgs I designed it accordingly.

What are some of the ways web designers deal with screen resolution differences these days? Should I worry about the resolution issues with my site?

Thanks!
