The true nobody searches directories anymore you don’t get significant traffic even from DMOZ and Yahoo directory, unless you are lucky and the page you have the listing is high on the search results.
For example I have this detail page
http://ask-dir.com/detail/link-533.html that ranks very high for a loot of competitive and “long tail” searches about Dubai Stay so this listings gets a good amount of traffic.
