Umm..

Here are a few differences between CS and CS2 that I know about:

1). CS2 requires good amount of RAM that has improved startup speed. (I always take RAM issues seriously!)
2). It has built in support for RAW or uncompressed camera file formats.
3). Improved file browser that is now called Adobe Bridge.
4). More filter and effects (that's always cool!)
5). Changes in layer selection methods and an additional link button in the layers palette.
6). Improved support for Adobe product family.

That's all I know..
