Just a small tip. Besides software available to inflate your Alexa rank, ask your web designers or friends to make your site their home page and have the alexa tool bar installed. You will notice a big difference in your rankings. This why SEO and webmaster forums often have good Alexa ranks, as many of their visitors have the tool bar installed.

If allowing comments in your blog or forum, or maybe having to link to a site to show just how stupid they are. There can be reasons for linking to bad sites. Then a no follow seems to protect you, although I heard the other day that Google do follow these links. I doubt that it will effect your site though...
