That's very good. At least someone understands it, and I am not crazy.
I have noticed with my own site, that as I developed more content, (and I have a lot of subpages) with appropriate tagging, my traffic has increased from different areas.
Some people say that you should have the adsense center or top page, so they are visible when the page loads, to increase the visibility of them, and that may help a little.
My personal opinion is if it is in with the text, you are asking people to make a choice of not reading what you have written, or ignore the ads all together to continue reading.
Maybe if you separate them from the middle of the body of the text, it will increase the probability of clicking them, because it is not conflicting.
I don't have any adsense on my blog, so I can't tell you from experience, but I would be more than happy to share what has worked with traffic over the last month.
