First off I’d like to thank God, but more importantly I like to thank Dave. Without him none of this would have been possible… umm, receiving this award has been a long time coming for me. Ever since I was a little kid, a little ragamuffin, I used to dream about being better than Dave. Sometimes; however, that seemed nearly impossible and more than once I almost gave up, but my dog, Arrow, never allowed me to do that. So I’d like to thank you as well Arrow. If only we had practiced that ‘leap of fate’ trick with like a safety net or something… and maybe not lit the ring on fire the first time… although I’m pretty sure the fall alone was more than enough even if that squirrel did soften the impact a little bit… you’d still be here to share this moment of joy with me. This one is for you Arrow… for you.
