I'd recommend you stop what you are doing and go back to working offline.
This attitude of "don't spend money" is not a good one to run a business. Legitimate businesses spend money. Marketing is part of business, and you will of course be beaten to a pulp by your more business-oriented competition who know that spending money is all good.
