I also agree that it's kinda early for Obama. IMO he's burning his chance. He should build up some more experience and actually show what the heck he stands for. For now I have an impression that his platforms and views are custom made only recently just because a presidential candidate is supposed to have a platform and views.

Maybe...but having someone as yet uncorrupted (more or less) by the system may be exactly what we need right now. Keep in mind, it's the president's staff that does most of the thinking and decision-making. The prez needs to be able to inspire confidence in the people. While Bush doesn't inspire confidence in many of us, he did give enough people peace of mind to get elected.....twice
If Obama's people are good, his inexperience is moot.
