I'm not quite sure I agree with the original poster. Google might do this but I know that Yahoo does not. In fact, from what I understand, Yahoo counts each page on a website separately which is why if you do a search for a link they will pull up most or all of the pages the link shows up on on a website.
I think that yahoo don't count sitewide link anymore as different links. They count it like 1 link and that's it!
