I've been really happy with Ubuntu, it's the only operating system on my desktop (daily computer) right now. Long story short, I starting playing around with Ubuntu last April, formatted one too many times and Windows wouldn't activate for me, mind you this was XP Pro I had paid full retail for. So I got pissed, cursed at a few "customer service" reps from MS. Wound up just going full Ubuntu.

A few months later, I bought an OEM copy of XP Home to run a few programs I needed. During this time, I started using Windows as my primary OS. It's a solid operating system for someone who knows their way around a computer. Anyway, I installed a program and XP crashed big time. Screw this.. Formatted and gave Ubuntu the whole hard drive.

Lots of people pick on Ubuntu because it's a "beginners" Linux but it's awesome once you learn your way around the terminal. I even manage my VPS's a lot better because I've gotten a grip on the Linux command line.
