Use other video promoting sites.. You know the sites your target audience is visiting..Create short videos about why your site is the best video sharing site or better yet, focus on the one thing that's missing from all the other cool video sharing sites.
And, then do all the other stuff like press release, visiting myspace sites and sharing some cool funny videos with others that just happen to be hosted on your site
Write an article about how someone can upload a video online (depending on your sub niche, for example of how people can update videos of sewing etc)
