I agree. I see nothing wrong with the current logo at all - in fact, I think it's rather nice. I think John was just trying to brainstorm with his forum members for ways to update it a bit. Some of us just like playing around with our programs for the fun of it; if he doesn't end up using my designs or anyone else's I truly doubt the world will come to an end.
