After reading this whole thread, and not being a psychiatrist but being a regular user for years and having smoked with tons of people I just have to say I don't believe weed alone can cause psychosis. If someone has a predisposition toward it, sure weed could help push them over the edge, as any number of things could.

I've seen many people though spend their whole existence stoned and useless, thinking it makes them cooler then everyone else, that's a kind of psychosis as far as I'm concerned. Weed is a tool, it shouldn't be a lifestyle.
But to the question, 'marijuana can cause psychosis, agree?' I'd have to answer no, I don't agree.

How bout this as a counter question:
For the average, healthy person, weed can relieve stress and enhance many common sensual functions, cause an expansive, creative mood of thought and generally give a pleasant experience, agree?
