I had no problems with you or anyone else for that matter.
I except my directory as a full time job, and sometimes in a full time job it gets hard to breath.
would you like me to say your directories are the best for me....Im not going to, but i will say you chose a few very good ones on your list.
As far as the #1 serp sites in web directory searches are concerned ...There are more directory key words other than web directory on the board.
If i was only trying to sell my link to directories it would be a great place to be, but the problem is not that many web directories pay for links.

Ranki don't be sour,
* I wasn't nit picking, I simply agreed with John Scott in his post stating that annual directory listings are from greedy directory owners. His post was legendary link bait, Aviva got mad and posted a stinging rebuttal, then Mr Scott started tap dancing, I thought it was hilarious.
*Try agian Ranki, use 4 or 5 of the most frequent key words/phrases in a Google search and you will come up some of the same directories over and over. It's really not rocket science.
* you proved my point, not true, most of the top web directories do pay for links in the other top directories. Go to a few of the directories on my list and you will see most have a section for web directories, and low and behold, there you will see again the top directories surfacing again over and over.
*Rankland your last post was much better written, good job but the double spacing between lines has to go.
