Those who take the time to educate themselves about money management tend to do better. Gender doesn't matter. Irrelevant. Women and men both have the capacity to read "Get a Financial Life." Both have the capacity for data entry, simple arithmetic, and planning (unless a culture intentionally keeps one of them uneducated). Both can budget and see that they're spending too much on "niceties." Either can figure out that their savings ratio remains a solid 1:1000000. Either can watch as their financial health dwindles because they had to buy that "new thing."
