I accept his freedom to say what he wants, even if it is to tell someone to shut up, but he has to realise that in doing so he is stepping on someone's throat, metaphorically speaking. I chose to intervene merely to emphasis this point.

I'm happy to defend either's right to freedom of speech, even though I actually don't think much of their argument.
