I have written my own web traffic reporting system (runs on asp.net 2.0) it tracks unique users, page views, avg time on page/site, leads generated etc etc etc.
I wrote it as I didn't trust some of the free ones out there to run on my servers, heres a bad screenshot - http://www.chillfire.co.uk/products/ocre

It is perfectly reliable and gives 100% accurate figures (its been up and running on a number of corporate sites for over 2 years, with no problem (other than really big SQL dsatabases -these sites get approx 50,000 unique people a month between them so lots of data), the speed hit is very minimal

The stats are +/- 2 people a day different to google analyitics, we run both as I stopped developing the ocre tracking system and now use google for all of them as they have nice graphs for our marketing team to use.

I am happy to help people out with trakcing stuff if they need it, most of it is out there hidden in the scripting community.
