There are quite a few decent freeware editors out there if you would do a search for freeware html editors. But the one that comes to my mind first and foremost is Komposer, which is NVU's unofficial bug-fix release. NVU is opensource and they stopped development on it, so someone else took the ball and ran with it. I have used it before I got Dreamweaver, and it works alot like Dreamweaver. If you can afford it Dreamweaver is another great WYSIWYG editor. Below I have included a few links to good tutorials and web related resources that may help you out a bit, too.
