My wife of 23 years and I are technically of the same faith, but she is knee deep into the rituals and church (started 6 years ago) and I'm more comfortable simply leading a decent life and letting things take care of themselves after I'm gone. After living on Maui and spending time in some of the most beautiful places on earth I have a hard time believing that one must be in a church, synagogue, mosque, temple, or whatever to be close to God. I believe that's simply a way to get people close to the leader of that "house of God".
Any way, I hope stating what's on my mind hasn't cost me anything when my soul leaves this old sack. If I never post here on v7n again you can wager that I was struck dead for this post. Or maybe it was for last Saturday night... or the month before... or jeez... I'm toast. Where's that church again!?
I think a lot of the "yes" answers would change IF the other person were a "very"active involved person of another faith other than their own.
