Hi, I am SEO Trainee working in a company and i would like to ask about how many submissions ie. link building per day is allowed or appreciated ..?
I assume you mean allowed by Google and their deliberately vague webmaster guidelines? 30 a day is good, because assuming you mean free submissions most won't be indexed or added the same day that you submit them. Sometimes it can take up to six months for a free directory to get round to adding you, although the majority will accept or reject your website within a month.

As far as what is most efficient however, in terms of the best use of your time, 30 submissions per day may not be that useful. You will be far better off working from a selective list of good SEO friendly directories that are relevant to your niches. Try compiling something like this to work from:

Also consider http://info.vilesilencer.com/

Basically you need to avoid wasting your time on dead directories or ones which won't add you, so you have more time to concentrate on other tasks.
