This is a bigger story than the extortion story. From what I can tell he expressed an opinion and used a "bad" word. The funny thing is that "bad" words bring up hundreds of results in a DMOZ search. DMOZ needs a safe search mode.
As someone who might search DMOZ for web entrepreneurs I would hope the list would be complete but I guess there will be at least one missing.
