Yahoo is paid - unless you are a non-profit or meet some special criteria. It's pricey too, I think $299/yr.
This to me is
complete hypocrisy (I'd prefer to use another word but haven't checked the forum rules on language yet). Yahoo and the other search engines all frown on buying links and paying to optimize sites for search engines. Yet Yahoo charges to do just that. They might as well just sell you a position in the search results. Just one more reason Yahoo got stomped by Google.
