A good attempt to explain the 'bloggers' relationship building', will just add a little more: Whatever the approach you're following, be honest doing it, for instance while commenting, do not just comment on anything but something that you really understand and have opinion about. Read the post and give an honest remark, be positive and do constructive criticism. And yes, do reply to the comments being posted at your own blog by others.
