He came very close multiple times to hitting the officers, even the female officer because he was trying so hard to make as big of a ruckus as he could make. Whether it was right or wrong for him to be asked to leave well that is up to the one that was hosting the answer and question session or the one that was taking the questions. As for the tasing as much of a fight as he put up to draw attention to himself it was a righteous taze, and remember, the officer that tazed him has him/herself been tazed before they were allowed to carry the tazer in the first place. Had he stopped resisting at any time he wouldn't have been tazed. Had he stopped and offered absolutely no resistence then that would be another issue.

People seem to forget that the officers risk being hurt by flayling arms, feet, kicks, whatever weopons might happen to be on a person unknowingly. If in a situation not necessarily this one but a situation where there is someone resisting and close enough to grab the tazer or the gun from an officer or reaching into his/her pocket, which would you rather have happen, officer pounce them with billy sticks and beat the hell out of them till they stop resisting, they pull out a gun and point it locked and loaded at them durring the heat of the moment that can cause an accidental shooting or give the resister the opportunity to take the firearm. Or a while briefly painful but long term wise unharmful jolt of electricity? It's like damned if they do damned if they don't....A cop gets shot at but gets sent to jail because he shot the victim back makes no sense to me at all, how can they keep us safe if they are afraid to do anything in order to do it?

It's almost as idiotic as when someone breaks into your house and either gets hurt breaking in, or you catch them and they get hurt getting away or you hurt them defending yourself and you get either arrested or sued by the idiot that broke in....AND THEY WIN!!
