Resisting arrest is a serious offense, and leads to serious situations. He should have followed his legal obligation to do as he was ordered; instead he resisted, and the police officers chose to taser him instead of using physical force. Seems they went out of their way to be nice to somebody who brags about his ability to be a jackass.
Of course, he could have been trying to escape police custody and you would still be opposed to the police doing their job.
