I would like to vote for fluid designs, but they're much harder to design then fixed ones. So, I'm giving my voice for fixed centered designs.
But I dislike when page is framed in and margins look like waste of space. I prefer when a page's background is designed too; some kind of pattern or gradient or the color outside of a frame is same as in the middle.
