Lightbulb How Do You Show Appreciation?

As a blogger, how do you show appreciation to your readers? Do you thank them when they comment? Do you send a personal email to anyone that leaves their first comment to your blog? Do you link to them or write a small review post for them? Without readers, your blog is nothing so I thought I'd ask how you show appreciation to those who call your blog home or at least stop by on a regular basis.

As for myself, I try to thank every person that leaves a good comment on my blog. If I'm in a really good mood, I'll write up a review about their blog so they have a link from within my content. Sometimes, I'll just link to the blog from within my blog roll. If I notice someone has linked to me via my admin control panel, I'll stop by and give that blog author a thank you and look for a way to contribute to their own blog. Recently, I've put up the names and links to everyone who has contributed to my blog via commenting inside of a big thank you post.

To those of you out their who love to thank your sponsors, it would be a good idea to thank your readers every now and then as well.
