Okay, I know someone is going to disagree with me here but I don't think the guy knows what he's talking about.

1. Digg effect can knock your site offline? - Is this guy nuts? You blog to have others read them, so what if it's offline for a few hours and in term you increase your readership by double or even triple? By the way if your site actually goes offline with Digg, your host is most likely pretty bad. 3-5k visitors in one day should handle okay with any share host servers.

2. Second, Diggers, Stumblers, and Redditers tend to be marginally more internet savvy than other web users. This usually means they will either ignore your blog’s monetization efforts - This statement is just straight out foolish. Let's take John Chow's money making blog for example. Do you think his visitors are not tech savvy? Why is he still making so much money? I've seen his story hit front page many times.

Don't want to go into further details, but I just simply don't agree with anything he's talking about.
