Hello everyone, great forum, I'm glad I found it. Here's a little background to introduce myself.
Name- Charles French
Age- Is just a state of mind. I have 2 daughters-18 & 21 and a son-9
I had entertained the idea of a website for some time. I know lots of artsy folks and thought I'd like to start a site and to showcase their talents. It didn't take long to figure out that this would be almost impossible for someone with no knowledge of web design, short of hiring someone to do it for me. So I got my wife involved and we found a solution for a couple of web building dummie's.
I've been playing music since I was 10 years old. Played on the road for about 12-15 years. Worked with blues greats Frank Frost & Sam Carr (The Jellyroll Kings) recorded a CD in 1994 with Fingers Taylor who was Jimmy Buffet's harp player for about 25 years. I bought a high dollar DV video camera and trying to get up to speed to do a documentary (easier said than done) I spend every other moment playing baseball with my son.
