Hello All,
I was wondering if anyone has any experience building a Media Center PC.
I am currently laying out the parts that I will need to purchase, and wondering if anyone has any recommendations for me. If you see something missing, please let me know.
Main goal is a sleek, computer to record tv shows, etc.
I already own a 500gb external drive, and I can burn other things to DVD if necessary.
I would also like to be able to use it as a computer, being able to boot up Counterstrike (Old video game) and play with no problem (Pretty much any video-card now-a-days.
FYI, these prices are not true prices (based on prices that ExtremeTech used on December 14, 2004. Probably hard to find some of these parts, just looking for an idea of what I was going to use, then go back and buy the best deal that satisfies my requirements over the next month or so on newegg.com deals
