There are many ways to say that directories have free submissions. Some would actually say that they have free submissions...but this is only if you reciprocate with them. still, this is free as reciprocating does not need you to pay.
Some would even make it hard for us to look for the free submissions link and place it where it is not obviously easy to find and this is making it hard for us who are looking for free d. submissions.
Some would even be free today but paid the next day and would change every now and then.
Through all this we just have to be cautious and be patient. There are plenty of them out there and we have to be observant as our experience will make us a better link builder when free directory submissions are at stake.
