One thing I have noticed is that they tend to use .info domain names (because a .info can be registered for only $1.99 at some places). That's bad for the reputation of .info, but makes it easier for the rest of the world to find spammers. BTW I got a real .info web site (not a blog) so I know that there are some real sites using .info too and not only spammers.
