There's just so much mixed information about it. If it's true that 1) There's no evidence that it's a gateway drug, 2) It doesn't increase a persons potential to commit crime then yes, it only affects the user...so I don't care if it's legal or not. There's just the two sided "yes it does" "no it doesn't" argument going on. I have no idea who's right.

I know that almost 100% of the people I grew up with who smoked it went on to harder drugs. I also know that I didn't and never even had an inclination to, so it needs to be left up to people smarter than me.

Legal or not I think it's a bad choice for the individual, but government has no business in peoples choices if they're only effecting the person making the choice.
