Does this happen on only the one website? If so, then it likely means the HTTP daemon that is processing the request has crashed.
If you are the owner of the site, the HTTP daemon has log files which you need to locate and check. If you're just a visitor, then perhaps you should ask someone else to verify if this happens to them and if so proceed to contact the site admin alerting them to this issue.
If it doesn't happen to someone else then you maybe having issues with your own network.
It's a bit like navigating in the dark without further information.
