We had a dream, a dream that one day we would be on the front page of Google, MSN, AOL, Yahoo under the search phase - 'website design' and guess what we did it!!!!
How? By understanding our market place, this being website design and ensuring that every customer we sold a website to was happy for us to place our link on the front page under our search term (I would say but I might get into trouble by the BIG C)
Anyway - this worked a treat and hard work and motivation to succeed played a large part to our success.
Many companies are blinded by their sheer tenacity to make the front page, and once there have no idea on how to cater for all there enquiries / let along create a website.
With us, we wished to firstly understand our customers, ensure that we had a decent delivery vehicle, so when the front page came about we were ready to rock and roll.
So what is the most important thing we have learnt, well it is this, do not be blinded by the number one spot.
