.I used Ubuntu once on a machine where the hard drive crashed and I could not find my windows install disk. I found Ubuntu too difficult too figure out - like I needed to be a programmer, which I am not. I guess I will settle for the point and click dumbness of windows - whichever flavor. Actually next decision for me is pc or mac. I have used a mac and find it easier to use than a PC, though they crash too.

Are you saying Ubuntu never crashes?
