I've had extraordinary success with several safelists.

With all of the junk out there, it is a breath of fresh air to be able to try something that is very inexpensive.

The whole "spam laws" is a scare tactic. There are several safelists out there and they are opt in and many of them are double opt in to satisfy the spam law restrictions.

There will always be nay sayers. The best thing to do is research it yourself and not let someone else deter you with their ignorance.

LOL,

I pumped out millions of emails a day when I was in the business, I gathered targeted emails from web, company databases (what say it ain't so - someone would hack a database just for emails),

kid you don't have a clue.....

I got out of the business 4 years ago.

You don't need to tell me about how email campaigns work.

(you have no clue how many sites are blocked by aol, rr and every independant isp banning users from even getting to the site sending them or they are traced back to). Got a abuse@yourwebsitename.com? check it you'll see who blocked you...

Why do they ban them? Because you're stealing their bandwidth mailing in junk with megs worth of pics......lol

If you're going to do it do it smart (I had burnable IPs and domains setup just to do it and protect my clients (thousands of IPs - - Those blocks are being used by regular ISPs now - poor bastards)

Don't bother - return on investment is low.

My bet is you're a spammer that just pumps them out without protecting your clients - that's the worst kind of spammer - they burn everyone! Even hotels got smart about your type - they block spammers now.... but then you probably never set up in a broadband hotel .....lol
