It doesn't matter what software you use to develop your site - if you like it and it works for you - great.

It's just a tool, notepad is a great tool also.

Content and a marketing plan is what matters. Good content and no barriers to keep people for finding the site or getting the page to load in a reasonable amount of time.

I've developed 200,000 dollar sites using Frontpage - What isn't that a baby program? (well I also used a dozen or so other programs to do it because what people don't see is as important)

if you like coffeecup, use it, but don't forget the important stuff -

personally I don't use DW that much - it's kinda a baby program - even tho it's trouted as a pro editor (all the plugins and stuff, yuck) - But for people starting out plugins are a good thing - they don't have the knowledge to create their own stuff.

But I will use DW sometimes if I want a particular feature - example this is a DW gallery I made a little gallery example for someone on this board (its just the raw gallery no design around it) - http://64.62.146.137/1/gallery.htm

MS Expression is now trying to be like DW - (got it, don't use it that much - but it has some great features I may want to use)

I want to do my own stuff - but all have great features - get to know Coffeecup and make it work for you.

I also like using a server with FPSE so I don't have the security issues with ftp. But use what you like, get to know it and it will work great for you. Frontpage can be picked up at a used software store for $10.00 - find an ISP that has fpse and you don't have to publish - yyou can work online live.
