[Rankenstein]

When I was living in New Jersey briefly, I was with my dad when he ran over a skunk (it was already dead, but he went over it as it was in the road). Aye caramba! The smell! Windows down all the way home, the stench just from the car sat in the garage permeated the whole house. Thankfully it had lost its potency and was gone in a few days. I can easily imagine that the smell alone from a live one of those things would be enough to write off a car.
