Not lately. Sales on ebay are terrible. Fee increase and new feedback rules coming are making life terrible there.

One of the things about ebay is you have to optimize your keyword phrases there also - the lady from ISellsoap and a clothing manufacturer I know does killer on Ebay. Who gives a crap what the fees are as long as you get a return on your investment! Then when you send them the item you give them a coupon for your site.

Google and ebay are figthing right now - when they get over it Ebay items will make the top listings again. Until they do you have to target in ebay carefully.

Example - the site isn't optimized for retail yet but:

Going after a general term like "Hippie Soap" yea she made the top 10 in google, but the products should be broken down

Example: "peace sign Soap" , "groovy soap bars ", "60's 70's soap ", "Glycerin HIPPIE SOAP" now we're talking the conversion is much higher because she has exactly what they searched for. You don't need bunches of traffic only those looking for your product
Now ebay and google can work for her (in the engine and ebay) - http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...=Google+Search

then you work on enticing other groups - but first get the direct sales
