FEMA -
Mike Brown was acting Director of Fema long before Bush appointed him to the position. He was appointed to the position of acting Director by his predecessor Joe Allbaugh.
When managing a large team, do you manage all actions taken by every individual on that team, or do you appoint and rely on someone with a shared vision to handle the day to day operations?
Bush responded to the recommendation like any other person would have. Life isn't perfect, bad eggs turn up on occasion.
I consider the idiots to be the people who knew their levees would not withstand a direct Cat 5 hit and still chose to stay. Those people consciously chose to defy all requests by the very same administration to evacuate. To add insult to injury, they consciously chose to whine about it when they realized they were up to their shoulders in deep s

it and seawater. The nation forgave them their mistakes and took them in. Any idea why the world is still blaming Bush for their stupidity?

"Mission Accomplished" was simply an end to the conventional "major combat" phase of the Iraq War. The media doesn't always differentiate between injury and death. They are all casualties. How many of those casualties were accidents? Why not factor in the number of Iraqi's who are killed by their own people. How many car or suicide bombs have been detonated in Iraqi markets? How many children have been set aflame by insurgents? The media took at most a passing interest in these events before we invaded. Now they blame Bush. There is always more work to do.

"Bring 'em on"
The sooner we kill them, the better.

Show me
any non-tampered statement from Bush that definitively states Iraq has WMD.
Are you a media junky?
