That's not a problem, as that is the entire reason for add/remove programs.
After a little looking around, what DOES concern me is the lack of support ubuntu has for iPod touch. Other than the Touch and the iPhone, Ubuntu nicely recognizes plugged in iPods. This, however, does not apply to the iPod Touch. The only way I can get the two of them to play nicely is to jailbreak it, which is not an option for me.
