Ohh it's a pathetic reason, really....lol.
Prior to my parents finally caving and buying us a dog, my sister and I would make pretty much any creature our "pet". So, we captured a toad and dressed him up.
It gets worse though; I macramé-ed a harness and leash for him, and we took him out for "hops" everyday. That is....until he...ahem....croaked (bad, I know) about two weeks later. I think we exhausted him. Either that or he
chose death over wearing costumes.
