Its been a while since I've worked in a chemistry lab, but whenever something needed to be ordered, we always could count on Sigma-Aldrich. I'm not sure how the pharmacology industry works, but give it a try and see where you end up.

Also, if you know that you're searching for a specific chemical (i.e. potassium chloride, salicylic acid, phenol, or whatever chemicals you guys use etc.), do a Google search and set it up like this:

MSDS ___chemical name___

MSDS data usually tell you the molecular, structural formulas, boiling points, melting points, health hazards, handling instructions, molecular weight, density, compressibility, and a lot of other things.
