At the end of the day, it's all numbers on a computer screen - if we all went to the bank and tried to withdraw all our cash, I think there'd be trouble. Why not wipe out all the debt by adding a few 0's to everyones bank accounts - surely that would stop the credit crisis?
My partner went on a debt management plan (
see here for those who don't know what one is) and if something doesn't happen soon, I'm going to have to go down a similar route. Here's hoping...
