The site looks nice overall, but perhaps the color scheme is a little flat. Though calming and pleasant overall, it might need more contrast to hook customers. The logo doesn't burst out at me, and the text "The Home of Special Surprises" doesn't leap out and grab me by the nostrils either. On the left, the menu uses a blue that provides some contrast. Perhaps experiment with that color, or something like it, on the main logo and text?

And though the anticipatory woman with the hat over her face looks great, I get a little confused when I juxtapose that with the top title bar: "Unique Baby gifts, gift hampers and Christmas hampers are our specialties." Maybe the site suffers from a small identity crisis? Not major, but enough to confuse some people and make branding more difficult. Eyes will get drawn to the picture first - it sucks in saccadian motion from the moment of loading - so people will tend to identify your site with that image. Does the image represent what you want it to? Does it communicate what your site sells? I'm tempted to say no, but of course it's not my site.

Just some of my thoughts on pulling in customers from the homepage. Overall a very nice site.
