Most good SEO companies do not do blanket directory submissions, so thats not really important. They would use niche directories that are relevant to your industry, but directory listings wouldn't be high on their priority list in terms of SEO anyway. It would be more on site things like site architecture, navigation, tage etc, then the off site stuff like link building (not directory link building) from relevant, high profile sites, creating link bait campaigns etc.
