If you want to reduce your bounce rate, the easiest way (in my experience) is to split up your page content across 2 or 3 pages. This will force someone to click on a "continue reading..." link to finish an article/tutorial/editorial and this will reduce your bounce rate significantly.

That said, it won't necessarily make your website any better.

As mentioned above, bounce rate doesn't necessarily mean you have bad content... maybe the reader was satisfied with the info they got on that ONE page and has no need to dig deeper.
