The links send you to the home page of Wormly, no information about the up and downtimes.
Even right now, again, your PHP server is down....

Each and every payment (Most likely highest 2-3 in my seen) are monitored by our billing reps and if anyone is over charged, they should get a full refund. Through me a call at +1-202-68-HOST-2 if you got someone who haven't got a refund but has a opened ticket.
|
Unfortunately that is not in all cases as 2 more friends have the same issue in the billing. It can be solved by dealing with Paypal but they didn't get a refund or even a reply from Mellowhost. I do believe in your sincerity BUT whoever was in charge of that issue didn't do his/her job.

We do not sell anything with quota anyway. All of our packages are unmetered, so i doubt if anything like this happened anyway The first 10GB allocation is given because of WHMCS, it set the quota 0 if we put something unmetered, though its always changable from your WHM. And we do not sell anything with sole cpanel. All plans come with WHM/Master panel.

Ok, in that case accept my apologies.

We are using PHP,Mysql and Apache of the same version for last two months as most of the usrs were complaining about the old version of them. If it did created a problem, i have to apologize for this as there really nothing we could do comparing with the security measurement of the server

Ok, true, just please let users know in ADVANCE about changes as important as that so they don't have to wake up to find out that their sites are not compatible anymore.

500 Errors are randomly shown to those users who are consuming too much CPU Memory and Processes. If it is showing you, that means you might need to contact support to increase the limit
|
Sorry, but that is not entirely true, the server gives you continuous 500 errors even when you are only running a small bulletin board with no users on line. It has been happening around the same time everyday. Even today you had the same issue and then the php server went down.

Its true, without any hardware change / big issues, we do not send mails. We always recommend to keep the RSS feed of our announcement section in your Gmail feed read / Firefox Reader / any other feed reader who can instantly update you if there are anything new in announcement section. That is actually the best way to manipulate all users and most of the users complaint regarding not being able to read email, changing email account etc.
|
RSS feed last "announcement" from May 11th, not exactly an "new update".

I know people love to speak bad instead of speaking truth alltime. But i appreciate both of you for pointing out the good sides of us. I believe to satisfy you to in the co-current month by taking your points in advice.

I am being impartial since I do believe in fair game and of course as the saying goes "Under our eyes our babies are the most beautiful than the rest", so it hurts when somebody tells us they are not.
Your "Baby" is not ugly, but it does need some attention.
You do have an excellent service and options, your server usually works pretty fast and the price is excellent. Although there are some issues that makes you think twice, if you have a downtime everyday either 500 mystery errors, php server, the back up never worked so all had to be done using regular FTP,smtp mail issues,
www...from a few minutes up to several hours then it's worrisome if you look for dependability, that's why I moved my sites because those "downtimes" were an almost everyday pattern, some of your users don't notice because they run regular websites or are not monitoring their sites 24/7 so they go to sleep and in those 8 hours they don't realize their site went down. I didn't want move my sites because when your servers worked they ran fast and smoothly, the array of options was a big plus.
The billing issue should be resolved too since there is some confusion with the "subscriptions" using paypal, the user thinks they will be charged each month on the day they subscribed to your company, but what they don't know is that your company charges on a specific date (20 days after your subscription) so if "John Doe" hires your services on the 5th he gets charged immediately for "that month" but AGAIN on the 25th of the same month (for the services of the next month) and not until the next 5th as it should be, so he paid full price for 20 days only (or it looks that way for the user) and so the confusion about "double" charges arise.
Other people get the warning that they "owe" for the next month, so they pay by "adding funds" since it is the logical option but what they are doing without their knowledge is subscribing again therefore double charges.
If it wouldn't have been for the continuous "ghost" outages I would have still be hosting with you, the current host I am with has no outages but it lacks the vast array of options you guys have. The billing issue is just an organization matter as well as having to be perfectly explained to the users.
I hope you do improve those issues that could give the impression to the client that the company is run by one person in a small room.
