Yes thats true it really depends on the type of blog you have. For example if you have a professional/company blog, you should address your name as an author to signify that you created it. And if you decide to create a personal blog and love to hide yourself as someone else, then you still can. It's a free blogging country. Is really using a name/real name an issue? I don't think so. What matter most is what kind of blog you have and how will the readers will benefit from it. (aside from you love to earn $$$ hehehe)
